Ripping the terror that steals through the night
Spilling the lifeblood of those in the light
cherish the wretched, fall into the fold
Hail to the Baphomet; horrors untold
Worship the coldObey, the serpent of old
You will do as your told
Obey, the serpent of old
Risen from ashes, engulfed in the flame
You are unworthy to utter his name
Drawing the circle, now casting the spell
Drowning you all in the fires of hell
Screaming in agony, fear, and despair
Tortured post mortem, you writhe in his lair
Descend into madness, your mind he shall take
Servant to darkness, enslaved by the snake
Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
Blackened hardcore with the sheer heady power of stadium crust and the glacial melodies of second-wave black metal. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 10, 2023
